Content License Terms

When you purchase Content from StockSpatial, you are purchasing a license to use that Content under specific terms. You are not purchasing the Content itself. The original Contributor retains full copyright ownership at all times.
All licenses require project disclosure at the time of purchase. You must provide the name of the project, the type of production, and the intended distribution channels. This information is shared with the Contributor and kept on file by StockSpatial.

Standard License
The Standard License grants you a time-limited, single-project license to use the Content for 12 months from the date of purchase. If your project extends beyond 12 months or you wish to use the Content in additional projects, you must upgrade to an Extended or Enterprise license.
Permitted Uses
- Websites, apps, social media, digital ads, presentations, e-learning
- Online video (YouTube, Vimeo, social platforms, streaming services)
- Corporate presentations, training materials, internal communications
- Short films, independent productions, personal projects
- Crop, resize, color-grade, composite, and modify as needed
Standard Restrictions
- Single project use only. You must identify the project at purchase.
- License expires 12 months from the date of purchase
- No broadcast television, theatrical, or cinema exhibition
- No sublicensing or transfer of rights to third parties
- Physical reproduction limited to 500 units
Extended License
The Extended License grants you a perpetual, multi-project license. Once purchased, you may use the Content across an unlimited number of projects with no time restriction. This license also unlocks broadcast and theatrical distribution rights.

- Unlimited projects (no re-licensing required)
- Broadcast television distribution
- Theatrical and cinema exhibition
- Unlimited physical reproduction (merchandise, packaging, prints)
- Products for resale where the Content is integral to the product
Enterprise License
The Enterprise License grants you the broadest rights available, including the ability to sublicense Content to production partners, agencies, and collaborators working on your behalf. This tier is designed for studios, agencies, and large-scale productions that require maximum flexibility.
Additional Rights (beyond Extended)
- Sublicensable to production partners, post-production houses, and agencies working under your direction
- Unlimited seat count across your organization
- Use in franchise and multi-territory campaigns
- Marketing, advertising, and promotional use in perpetuity

All Licenses
Copyright and Ownership
The Contributor retains full copyright ownership of all Content at all times. Your license grants usage rights only. You do not acquire any ownership interest in the Content itself.
Worldwide
All licenses are valid worldwide with no geographic restrictions.
Non-Transferable
Standard and Extended licenses are granted to the purchasing individual or organization only and may not be transferred, sold, or assigned to another party. Enterprise licenses may be sublicensed to production partners as described above.
Project Disclosure
At the time of purchase, you must provide:
- The name of the project or production
- The type of production (film, commercial, social media, app, etc.)
- The intended distribution channels
This information is shared with the Contributor and retained by StockSpatial. Failure to provide accurate project information may result in license revocation.
Prohibited Uses (All Licenses)
- Reselling, sublicensing (except Enterprise), or redistributing Content as a standalone file
- Uploading Content to other stock footage platforms
- Use in templates, themes, or products where the Content can be extracted in its original form
- Use for AI or machine learning model training
- Use as a trademark, logo, or service mark
- Any use that violates applicable law
- Pornographic, obscene, or defamatory works
- Promotion of hatred, violence, or discrimination
- False implication of endorsement by any person depicted in the Content
License Upgrades
You may upgrade from Standard to Extended or Enterprise at any time by paying the difference in license fees. Contact us to arrange an upgrade. Upgrades take effect immediately upon payment.
License Violations
If you use Content outside the scope of your purchased license, StockSpatial reserves the right to revoke your license, require you to cease use of the Content, and pursue damages. The Contributor also retains the right to pursue independent legal action for copyright infringement.
Attribution
Attribution is not required under any license tier but is always appreciated. If you choose to credit, please use: "Footage courtesy of StockSpatial.com"
Downloads
Download links are valid for 24 hours after purchase. If your link has expired, you may request a new download link from your dashboard. A license receipt is generated for each purchase as proof of your license terms.
